MCM stars in video at Expo Dubai

 

A massive FMS plant, which MCM is completing for delivery to France's leading aircraft engine manufacturer, is one of the stars of the video representing 'Italian Know-How' in the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, underway until March 2022.

The video, signed by Gabriele Salvatores, tells about the Italian regions through the excellence of each one. MCM, testimonial for Emilia-Romagna, was selected as the perfect synthesis of cutting-edge technology and all-Italian craftsmanship.

The troupe inside the MCM plant in Vigolzone (Piacenza), chose some of the testing phases of this important FMS, which includes automation elements typical of MCM flexible manufacturing systems, as well as a series of customized solutions, such as shared management and regeneration of tools on board.

The system consists of two Tank.G Multitasking machining centers intended for the machining of strategic aeronautical components, composed of tough materials, demanding milling and turning operations and precision at the highest level. At the same customer MCM has already previously installed another twelve Multitasking machining centers organized in three FMS lines.

The choice to include MCM in the video representing the excellence of the Italian manufacturing industry in the world is a further recognition of the Piacenza-based company's historical propensity for technological innovation and contributes to consolidate our country as a reference point in the sector worldwide.
